Shopping itinerary in Jaraguá
Jaraguá attracts shopkeepers and resellers looking for denim and fashion straight from the factories. This itinerary organizes the day: what to decide beforehand, where to start and what to ask each shop.
1. Before the trip
- Decide what to buy and how much to spend. Bring a list with sizes, quantities and budget.
- Choose the day. Each factory's hours vary, especially on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Call ahead or see the contacts at clothing factories in Jaraguá.
- Ask the companies (the full list is in wholesale shopping): opening days and hours, minimum quantity, accepted payment methods, whether they sell wholesale, retail or both, and whether they serve walk-ins.
- Documents: to buy for resale with an invoice in your shop's name, bring your company data (CNPJ and, where applicable, state registration).
2. Where the shops are
There is no single shopping center: production is spread across town. The largest concentration of wholesale shops is in Setor Aeroporto and along Avenida JK, near the BR-153 access, but there are clothing companies downtown and in other neighborhoods. See the map and the list of neighborhoods.
3. A suggested day
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| Morning | Start with the Setor Aeroporto factories where you already agreed on a time. Compare prices and models before placing an order. |
| Lunch | Restaurants along the BR-153 and downtown. See food and drink. |
| Afternoon | Avenida JK and other shops. Close orders, and confirm delivery times and the invoice. |
| End of day | If time remains, stroll through the historic center or go up the Serra. |
4. Outlet and fair
- Outlet Jaraguá: a shopping center beside the BR-153, with 58 stores and 4 kiosks according to Codego. As of September 2026 the portal found no official opening announcement; confirm it is open before traveling just for it. See Outlet Jaraguá.
- Expo Jaraguá: a fashion-industry fair organized by ACIJ, with editions in November 2025 and July 2026. See Expo Jaraguá.
5. Shopping tours and vans
If you organize a shopping tour, agree with the shops on arrival time and where the bus or van can stop and park: the portal has no official information yet about stopping points for tours.
6. When to go
The clothing companies work all year. Fashion trade tends to pick up before Mother's Day, Father's Day and the end of the year. At those times, and during festivals, book lodging early: hotels.
7. Always check
Sales rules are set by each company and may change. The information on this page is general guidance; always confirm with the shop. There is also the business directory and the classifieds (in Portuguese).
