When to go to Jaraguá
The climate is tropical, with two well-defined seasons: dry from May to September and rainy from October to April. Each season has its own appeal.

For river and waterfall swimming
Choose May to September. In the rainy season the rivers rise quickly and turn muddy, and flash floods are a real danger at waterfalls.
For the festivals
The Cavalhadas follow the Festa do Divino and change date every year; check the official program. See the festival calendar. During the Cavalhadas, Carnival and the Festa do Peão, demand for accommodation rises: book in advance.
For wholesale shopping
The clothing factories work all year, but opening hours vary from factory to factory and store to store. Confirm directly with the company before your trip, especially on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
